Since establishing our Aerospace division in 2004, Micro has become an industry leader recognized for capability, consistency, and efficiency.
Working alongside global organizations including NASA, Lockheed Martin, and Harris Corporation, Micro has proven experience developing "best in the field" machines and tools:
- Built optical test equipment to provide mirror alignments for the James Webb Space Telescope -- an optical detector with the primary function of identifying light in total darkness and mapping locations to sub-pixel resolutions.
- Created hydraulic test equipment for aircraft assemblies and optical polishing systems for space & defense applications.
- Provided support for high profile projects like the Mars Curiosity and F-35.
Micro's manufacturing personnel possess the critical ability to identify potential specification problems upfront to avoid increasing cost and delaying schedules. Our skilled tradesmen work with tolerances as small as a micron, large structures and exotic materials. Our attention to detail, versatility, skill and passion for quality are some of the reasons we excel in Aerospace and Defense manufacturing.
